A classically trained multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Sarah composes and releases experimental music as FRKTL. Working with synthesis and spatialisation, vocal processing, live sampling, and improvisation with algorithmic systems, she produces immersive explorations of sound.
Her critically acclaimed album, Excision After Love Collapses, marks nearly a decade of independent, self-published works. She is an alum of Hong Kong Community Radio, presenting a monthly show of genre-defying music, and an Oram award recipient for innovation in sound, music, and related technologies.
